Ambul Thiyal with Modha Fish (Barramundi) Recipe
INGREDIENTS
4 tbsp Roasted Curry Powder
2 tbsp Pepper
2 tbsp Salt
4 tbsp Goraka Paste
2 tbsp Chopped Onion
1 tbsp Chopped Garlic
1 Cup of Water
Modha Cut in to Cubes
METHOD
Step 1
Into a bowl add 4tbsp of Roasted Curry Powder, 2 tbsp of Pepper and Salt then MIX MIX MIX!
Once the spices are mixed well add 4 tbsp of Goraka paste, 2 tbsp of chopped onion, 1 tbsp of chopped garlic and some water. Then Mix and stir it into a paste.
Step 2
Now take a Banana Leaf and lay it out flat on the table. Gently spread the paste onto the Banana leaf. Place the Modha Cubes on top of the paste very carefully then spread the rest of the paste on the top and the sides, ensure it’s and even coating. Now wrap it up! Place the pack inside a clay pot and close the lid then let it cook for 5 minutes and Voila!
